So you can ignore my previous post about why I was sad. Kate and I have made up. You can now go back to the previous cuteness and adorableness that is Alton.

I'm here! I have a blog list from MGW that I check sometimes. I'm glad you two are buds again, it's terrible to have a falling out with a friend. I may not agree with your stance on gay marriage but I have friends and family that would agree with you. Good to see you two are seeing past the pesky differences and ammending a really good friendship. Hugs to you both!
I'm here too! I must admit to being nosey...I felt like something had happened between you and Kate and remembered that you both had blogs so checked them out. Do y'all live close to Disneyland? I knew you said you loved it but geez y'all sure do get to go alot! We don't have any big entertainment around here...have to drive 2.5 hours just to go to Six Flags!
You know I'm here girl. I'm so happy you made up. Religion and politics are sticky. I definitely just try to turn my ears off when I know I'll get passionate about something, its so hard though.

Since it is a public forum, I'm sure lots of people are here reading your posts. Glad you made up with your BFF. Sounds like a trip to Disneyland is in order to celebrate!
We are aware that IVillage is a public forum and we have both posted our blog addresses, but since I was pretty much Kate's only commenter (with the exception of Pseudonym Girl) she didn't think anyone was reading except me and a family member.
That is why we were curious as to how many people were reading our blogs. I normally have very few comments, but apparently, everyone knew what was going on from having read our blogs. :)
Christy, to answer your question, I live 1/2 an hour from Disneyland, and we go twice a month because I secret shop Disneyland. :)
Hi Jen! I'm here! I'm not stalking you, don't worry! ;) I was worried about you when you resigned - you wrote me back saying that you would be updating your blog soon with what happened, so I have checked in to see what stirred things up. I'm sorry you and Kate had a falling out, but am happy to hear that all is well again! Just like any relationship, there will be ups and downs. I guess you guys realized that you needed to overcome the differences because the friendship was worth it!

BTW - I avoid expressing my opinion on most issues on IV - I hate arguing about politics and religion - but I'm always happy to see your posts since they aren't generally far from mine :)

i am reading too....glad that you and your friend made up....i had a friend dump me a few years ago for similar reasons, but she has not yet come back.
